Terms of Service

Last updated 12 October 2026. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Evaluation AI.

These Terms govern your access to and use of Evaluation AI (“we”, “us”), including our website, courses, skills, templates, ebooks and memberships (the “Service”). By creating an account, downloading a file, or buying anything, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

Evaluation AI provides practical, AI-assisted monitoring & evaluation training and templates. Contact: contact@evaluationai.com.

2. Accounts

  • You must be 16+ and provide accurate details. You are responsible for your account and any activity under it.
  • Authentication is provided by Clerk. Keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly about unauthorised use.
  • We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms, abuse the Service, or attempt to bypass entitlement controls.

3. What you can buy

The Service includes individual digital products (courses, skills, template packs and ebooks) and memberships (subscriptions that unlock a defined set of content). Content is delivered digitally through your account; there is no physical shipment.

4. Prices, payment and taxes

  • Prices are shown in US dollars (USD) and may change at any time. The price you see at checkout is the price that applies to that order.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card details.
  • You authorise us (via Stripe) to charge your chosen payment method for the order. Where a payment fails, we may retry or suspend access.
  • Taxes (e.g. VAT/GST/sales tax) may be added at checkout where required by law.

5. Refund policy — digital products (courses, skills, packs, ebooks)

All sales of digital products are final. Because these products are delivered instantly and in full (downloadable files and streamed content), we do not offer refunds, returns or exchanges once a purchase is complete — including where you did not use the product, changed your mind, or bought the wrong item by mistake.

  • Access problems: if a file is missing or will not open, contact us and we will fix the delivery — that is a remedy, not a refund.
  • Duplicate purchases: if you are charged twice for the same product by accident, contact us within 14 days and we will refund the duplicate.
  • Statutory rights: nothing in these Terms removes non-waivable rights you have under the consumer law of your country. Where the law grants a right of withdrawal for digital content, it is waived once delivery begins with your consent (which you give by checking out). Where the law requires a refund despite this policy, we will honour it.

6. Discounts, bundles and promotions

  • Discounted prices (including founding-member, bundle, seasonal and quarterly/yearly rates) are offered as-is and are non-refundable. Buying at a discount does not create a right to a refund.
  • Founding price for life means your subscription rate does not increase for as long as your subscription stays active and in good standing; it does not survive cancellation, and re-subscribing later is at the then-current price.
  • Discounts cannot be combined unless stated. We may end a promotion at any time; ending it does not change the price of a subscription you already hold (except as in §7).

7. Memberships (subscriptions)

  • Billing: memberships are billed in advance monthly, quarterly or yearly, and renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled.
  • Cancelling: you can cancel any time from your account (or by email). You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for; you will not be billed again.
  • No partial refunds: we do not refund unused time, and cancelling mid-period does not entitle you to a pro-rata refund.
  • Price changes: we may change subscription prices with reasonable notice; changes apply from your next renewal. If you do not accept a change, cancel before it takes effect.
  • Membership content can change: the catalogue of courses, skills and templates evolves. We may add, update or retire individual items; a membership gives access to the library as it stands, not to any specific item in perpetuity.

8. Trials

  • We may offer a paid introductory trial (for example, two weeks for a small fee). The trial fee is charged at checkout and is non-refundable.
  • A trial gives limited access (as described at checkout — for example, a subset of courses and skills). It is not the full membership.
  • Automatic conversion: unless you cancel before the trial ends, the trial automatically converts to a paid membership at the standard price for the billing period you selected, and your payment method is charged then and on each renewal.
  • Trials are limited to one per person and may not be combined with other offers. We may decline or end a trial for misuse.

9. Licence and permitted use

  • You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use purchased content and skills for your own professional work (and, for Pro/Team, for the client work described at purchase).
  • You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, publish, share account access, or repackage the content — in whole or in part — including as part of another product or course.
  • Free materials (for example the free handbook) may be shared with colleagues, but not sold.

10. AI features and your responsibility

  • Some tools send the text you provide to third-party AI models to produce a result. AI output can be incomplete or wrong. You are responsible for verifying every figure, source and claim before it reaches a donor, client or decision-maker.
  • The Service is a tool, not professional, legal, financial or regulatory advice. Nothing here guarantees a funding outcome.
  • Do not paste personal, sensitive or client-confidential data you are not permitted to process. See the Privacy Policy.

11. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service; do not bypass entitlements or quotas; do not use it for unlawful, infringing or harmful purposes; do not upload malware or content you have no right to use.

12. Intellectual property

The Service, our method, templates, courses and skills are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property law. Feedback you give us may be used to improve the Service without obligation.

13. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features; we will give reasonable notice of material changes where we can. Third-party features (AI models, payments, authentication) are served by their providers and may change.

14. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or loss of data. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

16. Contact
